Kirby & the Amazing Mirror, Kirby: Triple Deluxe

Dark Meta Knight is the dark counterpart to Meta Knight and a recurring boss in the Kirby series.

Kirby & the Amazing Mirror

In this game, Dark Meta Knight is the primary antagonist until Dark Mind shows up. He is Meta Knight's mirror world version and the one responsible for sealing him away in the Dimension Mirror by breaking it, which is why Kirby sets out on an adventure in the first place. He is also the one responsible for splitting Kirby into four other Kirbys, starting his adventure in the first place.

When you first fight him in Radish Ruins, he is disguised as Meta Knight and looks exactly the same, but he is referred to as "???". Once you beat him, his disguise fades away and he vanishes. He is later fought again in the Dimension Mirror, with the same disguise. However, the real Meta Knight is standing on a pillar revealing him for the fraud he truly is. Again, his disguise fades away and you battle him. After you defeat him, he literally shatters into pieces.

Kirby: Triple Deluxe

Despite having seemingly died in his prior appearance, Dark Meta Knight makes a surprise return as the final boss of the game's Extra Mode, Dededetour. He is the implied main antagonist of this mode.
